watching Harper discover things for the first time is one of the highlights of my life these days. her hands are her new favorite thing and i can’t help but laugh when she has them clasped together tightly and is staring at them so intently in front of her face that her eyes cross. when i tuck the burp rag under her chin to feed her, she gets so excited that she grabs on to it for dear life, drools and makes what can only be described as little piggy noises (she will kill me someday for saying that, but i digress). i gave her this little winnie the pooh blanket to play with and sure enough, she looooves to grab it with her chubby little mitts and try to shove it into her mouth as well. my heart belongs to this kid.
