we have a weener! the lovely Gina is the winner of the fawnie pillow! i loved reading everyones comments, so thanks to everyone who said hello. and to everyone who didn’t – it’s ok, i can still see you. yeah, you. don’t think i haven’t noticed.
check out gina’s blog if you get a chance, her little lady is SO cute. Gina, email me your address when you get a chance and the fawn/chihuahua pillow will be on her way!
i think it should be said that my pho/vietnamese noodle bowl problem is at level orange. this means i have had either pho or a vietnamese noodle bowl at least 5 times in the past week. i think this constitutes a severe problem and i should seek immediate counseling. unless of course a counseler would urge me not to eat said dishes, in which case i do NOT need counseling.
i’ll leave you with a pic of H and her new hair clippy, courtesy of my friend Rachel and her son Liam. so frigging cute.

so as you all know, my hubs works awfully hard so that i don’t have to go to work. he works his day job 40-50 hours a week, and does side work at least 2 days after work, plus every saturday, all day. we miss him tons and even when he is home, he is beat. this weekend he took off thursday, friday and gets monday off for the holiday. thursday he did all of his sidework so he could hang with us guilt-free for the other 4 days. we are having too much fun!
yesterday we went and had lunch with GG, and then headed to babies r’ us to get Harper a new carseat. we had jamba juice (peanut butter moo’d owns my face hole, just sayin’), came home and all took a rad nap. very good day. today we slept in a bit, i made coffee and egg/cheese/everything bagel breakfast sammiches, and vegged out. hit up tar-jay with my mama and Harper tried out her new big girl carseat:
she l-o-v-e loves it. we also bought a big mirror so we can see her (should have bought that mmmmonths ago, doh), and she really likes making faces at herself and dancing into it. SO CUTE. the biggest change with the big carseat is that now we don’t have the option of carrying her in anywhere in her carseat. this should be interesting since if i go to the bank or grab coffee, etc, i have to completely take her out and carry her. like tonight, we went to Lele for dinner (i’m not even kidding, my obsession for pho these days is out.of.control) and we were like “omg, do they even have highchairs?” luckily they did, but if they didn’t, we couldn’t eat there – and then we’d have a really big problem – unhappy mandy. happily, they do and the little squirt joyfully sat through our whole meal, snacking on mum-mums and flirting with other tables. we overheard one lady saying “can you beleive that baby? she hasn’t made a peep this whole time, she’s just sitting there.” we are SO lucky with how well she does in public. i attribute it to the fact that we take her everwhere we go, and have since she was about 2 weeks old. i’m convinced she’d rather be in public than at home.
anywho, Lele has this freaking rice noodle soup (basically pho, but pho is a southern vietnam dish where this one is northern) with roasted chicken. instead of putting the chicken in the soup, they bring you half a chicken on the side (it’s more the size of a game hen, not a full size chicken). anyways, it’s the crispiest, most delicious chicken EVAR and i feel borderline fat kid even talking this much about one dish. i can’t help it, it’s that good. thank gawd they have highchairs.
this time with Scot home is so awesome. just doing everyday stuff with him and Harper has made me so happy! and we still have 2 more glorious days! tomorrow, aaron’s birthday bbq and who knows what monday will bring. before i go, peep this ADORABLE pic of my two faves. framerrrrrrr.

ok readers, it’s time to come out of the closet. not that one, the one next to it – the “i read mandy’s blog” closet. i know who my loyal readers are, ’cause they leave me extra super cool comments and stuff. but theres those of you who stop by and never say hi! i see cities from all over the world pop up on my feed, so for the love of blogs, raise your hand and say hello! especially if you also have a fun and interesting blog. i’m a blog stalker and am always looking for new ones to read.don’t be shy, there’s no way you can be crazier than me.
in honor of you, my readers, finally (albeit late) exposing yourselves as my interwebs followers, i will be giving my latest and greatest fawnie pillow to a randomly selected commenter on this post (this will most likely involve 1)a hat 2)tiny pieces of paper and 3) a cute 10 month old deciding which piece tastes the best in her mouth). so leave your name and how you found us and this little gem could be yours.

p.s. extra points if you know what movie my title is quoting – my all time favorite movie until i die.
