love! and marriage!

my feet are so very angry with me. since the last weekend of July i have been pretty much torturing them at every turn and i’m happy to say, i think i am done putting them through misery. it all started when my friend Jess had a Gaga themed bachelorette party and i think has now ended with her lovely wedding on saturday (with BlogHer and a trek around NYC in there). flip flops and flats from here on out, my little piggies. although i don’t think the one who eats roast beef will ever forgive me – he is completely numb.

the wedding of Jessica and Rory this past weekend was amazing and lovely. it was held in her mom’s gorgeous backyard and the day was full of everything a wedding should be – love.

Harper was the flower girl and did a great job. i mean, she cried the whole way down the aisle, but HEY that is comic relief and hello, she walked down the aisle. i must say, we made a charming pair that day.

i think i cried enough tears this weekend for a few moons. Jess and Ror are off enjoying their honeymoon and i can’t help but think about how much fun they’re having, enjoying those first few days of wedded bliss. it’s definitely a feeling you never forget. i heart weddings!

That color looks fantastic on you! I am gearing up for 2 weeks in LA with my husband and there a gazzillion events and such that we have to go all that require me to wear super high sexy 'I'm a MILF" heels. Excited about new shoes but so not excited about how bad those dogs are going to be barking. Ugh!

I heart backyard weddings…I almost typed "weedings", but then that is just a part of making a backyard beautiful enough to host a wedding ceremony…cuz I know all about that. By the way, you and Harper looked absolutely gorgeous! I love the green floral bouquets!!
