Bloggers For Babies: a success!

the day i’d been planning and thinking about for over 4 months (well a year really!) finally came on saturday. a group of northwest bloggers, their babes and friends and family met bright and early, coffee in hand, babies in strollers and sleep in their eyes. we walked for over 4 miles on a scenic route through downtown tacoma, along dock street past the glass museum, around to pacific ave and back to the tacoma dome. we walked to help insure that someday, all babies will be born healthy.

i want to take the time to thank my team of pure awesomeness:

chelsey from the paper mama, melissa from hi, baby, andrea from peanut butter handprint, tessa from life according to lennox, michelle and justin, jill from chronicles of corbin, amanda from raising reese, amanda from pretty little life, susan, erika from bird e studios, fiona from letters to littles, amy and my beautiful mama for raising over $2400 for March of Dimes. i’m so amazed by what we did and can’t wait to smash that record next year. i hope those of you who couldn’t join us this year will consider walking with us next year – it was a blast for an amazing cause.

thank you to EVERYONE who donated. your money goes to a good place – helping families dealing with babies born too soon, research to find answers to problems that threaten babies, community programs that help moms have healthy, full term pregnancies. it means the world to me that so many of you helped us meet, make a new, then smash our goal. here are the winners of the giveaway!
