Steppin’ Out…Friday {5.13.11}

this weekend we stepped out on friday night instead of saturday. so consider this the very first SOF ::throws glitter:: and a certain someone, coughharpercough, wasn’t interested in being in a single photo.

my very best gal, Bree, had a special birthday yesterday and we went out to help her celebrate. in a few weeks the two of us are having a joint 30th birthday party of epic proportions so you could say this is birthday month for the two of us (everyone should celebrate their birthdays for a month. it’s science). fun was had by all, especially the birthday girl.

today we’ve been lazy around the house but plan on heading to the park soon since it’s decided to not rain. Harper has been a super cuddle bug today, making neither Scot or i really want to leave the house! when a 2 and half year old wants to cuddle, you cuddle. who knows the next time they’ll want anything to do with that.

    HAppy Birthday Month! 
    I celebrated my 30th about 6 months ago.  It was fun and crazy, as it should be.  It ended with me and a few of my best friends reenacting the Sound of Music at 3am.  That is what 30 year olds do – right?

    I am unable to resist the powers of the boyfriend tees from Target.  I think I buy one every time I go and my drawers are a rainbow of colors to prove it.  I love that you paired a casual tee with that cute skirt!

    Love your style.  I was at Macy’s on Saturday and I thought of you.  I found these uber cute flat sling-bakcs in a mustard yellow.  Not normally my style but I’m rocking them today.  They are totally you though.
