today was a big day! my mom, Scot and i gave Harper tickets to Yo Gabba Gabba Live for her birthday present and today we headed to the Paramount theater in Seattle for the show. we took her last year for her birthday as well, and again we were not disappointed. the gabba gang puts on a great show and we all had a blast dancing and singing. leslie hall and biz markie were live and in effect! i won’t ruin the show for everyone else who may be going soon, but basically, it was rad and we boogied like woah.

and yes, i cried again. BUT i pulled it together really quickly. seeing all those kids, mostly mine, so happy and excited just gets to an old sap like me. what can i say.

tomorrow is going to be a big day of jammies, coffee and essentially not moving my behind off the couch. we’ve been on the go all weekend and i can’t wait to settle into a big busy schedule of absolutely nothing whatsoever for the day, forever and ever amen.

We use to love Yo Gabba Gabba here at our place, but I confess that our 5 year old said while watching it today, “Mum, it’s for babies.”

    Okay then…!

Awww, I want to take Gianna to see Yo Gabba Gabba – she loves it! Maybe next year when we are living in a big city. And I love how H is showing off her Foofa in that last picture!

ugh….all these ygg posts really bum me out! hah! :-D my oldest isn’t into them anymore, and my youngest is too small to take just yet. would it look weird to see a 27 year old woman, dancing and singing along….alone?

This looks like so much fun!!!  We are hoping to go soon and I am trying to convince my husband that he should wear his DJ Lance Halloween costume.  He is NOT buying it:)  LOVE that cowl neck scarf, it looks so cuddly!!!

Oh my goodness! I did the same thing! We took my son to the Atlanta show, and the whole way there, he was so excited to see Yo Gabba Gabba! I guess he thought we were just going to see them on a big tv, because when that boom box opened up, and they were standing there, for real, the kid had no expression besides pure shock and, like stiff clapping, when I told him to clap, for the entire first half of the show, haha! It made me so emotional to see how truly happy he was, after he got over the initial shock. Of course, after we left, it’s all he’s been talking about. And there was a dad dressed like DJ Lance Rock, who we walked up with from our cars, who my son thought was the real thing. “DJ Lance” graciously took a picture with our little guy. Yo Gabba Gabba – such rock stars! :)

I love Harper’s face in these. You can tell how excited she is! Also, I am jealous of your ability to find shoes at Target. I feel like I am only successful 10% of the time.

We are going to the 3pm show- I can’t wait! My baby girl and I both came down with a cold just a few days ago and it sucks- but we just can’t miss it- we’ve had tickets for months! Hoping nap time will be especially helpful on easing her so she can party! So glad Harper had fun!

Dude you are looking skinny! Your daughter is just the cutest. Is it sad that I wish I had seen the show when it was in my town? I don’t even have kids!

I think I need to know what this Yo Gabba Gabba is all about! My little guy may only be seven months old, but it might be something we need in the future! And, if I haven’t said it enough, Harper is a doll!
