Steppin’ Out Saturday – Well that’s cozy.

on Harper >> jeans: baby gap // hoodie: target // shoes: TOMS. on Mandy >> blouse: thrifted // jeans and boots: target // jacket: f21 // scarf: maurices // boot “socks”: made from the arms of an old sweater.

you know the gray scarf i’ve been wearing in i don’t know, the last 4 or 5 sos’s? yeah, i was wearing that when i realized i may be a bit on the obsessed side with it. i need to go get it in other colors or something. anywho so i found this old friend in my closet and holy cozy. it was perfect for our trip to the post office and the grocery store (g-l-a-m-o-r-o-u-s).

hey i made these fake boot socks! i took an old sweater and cut the arms off. VOILA, FAKE BOOT SOCKS. why? i have no idea. it just looks cute. well it looks cute once the boots are on, before that it just looks weird. sort of like you’re wearing cut off sleeves of a sweater on your legs. most likely because you are. anyways, cute! easy! highly recommend!

tonight i’m off to have some wine and catch up with my best friend Bree. Scot and the H monster are gonna have a stay at home daddy daughter date, and tomorrow we are gonna make a big breakfast of eggs, bacon, potatoes and bagels. and duh, coffee. because obviously.

That scarf looks like the most amazing thing you can put on your neck and I need to buy a cozy sweater just so I can cut the arms off and make fake boot socks. You’re awesome.
