this kid.

it’s official. i am not welcome to pick her clothes anymore. she’s been back and forth for a long time now – some mornings i can pick, others i can’t. but recently nothing i pick is good enough so i have given up. i LOVE seeing the outfits she puts together and boy she loves clothes. if we’re home for the day, she changes numerous times. numerous.

i’ve been saving some gems for you guys – it’s been a long time since i did a Harper Says post. girl is nutty.

last month we had a huge snowstorm, and Scot was outside shoveling it. she was watching him out the window and she sings “everyday I’m shovelin” and then i died because it was so good and how did she do that and how does she know that’s funny?!

“daddy’s hands look like big grandpa hands”

“we should be a team! and we should eat chips! like a team!”

me: “harper, want to sit by me?” H: “oh i’m just gonna sit here actually. ::pause:: i still like you though!”

“mommy, i wouldn’t eat kitty litter if i were you. i wouldn’t.”

“I LOVE KISSING BABIES!” (there were no babies anywhere to be seen).

H: “knock knock”, me: “who’s there?”, H: “Harper”, me: “Harper who?, H: “aren’t you glad i didn’t say banana?”

here’s a clip of her singing a song by Foster the People. and by singing the song, i do mean singing the incorrect words she believes to be true. enjoy and happy wednesday afternoon! i think an iced chai is in order over here.

    We have the same child. Not really, mine is 4 and has blonde hair and we live in Wenatchee, BUT she also changes her clothes a million times a day and comes up with awesome one-liners.

    Speaking of kitty litter, the first time my daughter encountered it was when we went to visit my grandparents (who had a 3-legges cat named Tripod) and she was 3ish. She had a really a hard time saying it…her version kept coming out as “clitty bitter.” Twas awesome.

    Your daughter is the cutest thing, even my husband laughed! I think she may have a big acting career in her future! hahah.
