Steppin’ Out Saturday – Little lady

Harper is wearing >> dress: h&m // leggings: target // shoes: TOMS // jacket: gap, thrifted // necklace: f21

when a three year old says “mommy can i wear that deer necklace please?” you let them wear it. because they said a polite word with out asking and that in itself is a miracle.

Harper chose this outfit to go pick up my mom at the airport today. the sun shined (shone?) for about 10 minutes while we were snapping a few pictures on the way out. Harper was so cute at the airport, she was SO excited to get her GG back and she was just a doll the entire time. we took the escalators up and down and she pet a doggie. i had to hold her back from running though the “do not enter” part when she spotted my mom. she informed she would like a rolly suitcase that is yittle like her and to go on a plane.

last night we watched Being Elmo. holy tears. about a movie about puppets? i’m such a wuss. if you have netflix it’s on instant right now and you should probably watch it. it was pretty fascinating. if you tend to cry for literally any reason whatsoever, you should probably still watch it, but bring a tissue or something. if you don’t cry for literally any reason whatsoever, you can watch it and then make fun of what a weirdo i am.

i’m off for a MUCH needed girls night with a two of my best friends. daddy daughter date for Scot and this little miss. i hope you’re all having a great weekend!

p.s. i’ll be back in the mix next week!

She is just delicate! What a sweet face!
I cry at everything. I have 3 sons, and a husband that all make fun of me when I cry at a commercial. So I guess I’ll watch Being Elmo when they are all out of the house =)

she’s adorable! i tried to do my hair like that on friday and it did NOT look adorable, haha! so strange about Being Elmo our friends just told us about it tonight and i’m now weirdly excited to see this movie that doesn’t really sound all that interesting! ps. they didn’t mention the whole tear jerker thing though, but i kind of cry at everything too. 20 years later the titanic song still gets me. anyways, girls night sounds so fun!

Harper is adorable. I watched Being Elmo last week and had the same reaction. God, I wish making muppets was my job!

I love the front braid. So freaking cute. I plan on getting one of those ride on suitcases once my daughter is a little bit older.

I can relate, mama! My 3 yr. old has been taking my jewelry and make AND shoes! It’s kinda fun, though! …and I don’t mind the extra bonding time…’cause I know when she hits those teen years things will be different!

What is Being Elmo? An adult movie or a kid movie?
