This Saturday we hung out at home. Well, we kind of stepped out beforehand – to the grocery store to pick up cucumber vodka, gingerale and a cucumber. The rest of our evening consisted of drinking that, watching Jim Gaffigan on Netflix, and snort-laughing (well to be fair to Scot, it’s just me that does that). Seriously though, his takes on parenting, fast food and working out are just so good. After that we watched some SNL from 2010. Kristin Wiig continues to be nearly my favorite person on this earth.
This whole outfit was essentially like wearing pajamas. The dress without a tee over it is a bit of an overload on horizontal stripes, so the shirt really is a service to myself and others. I got this june bug necklace for one dollar at H&M. One dollar. To be honest that’s about my limit on bug jewelry. Bunnies, elephants or other rad animals however, I give a larger budget to. Or octopus!
Saturday morning we spent cleaning and organizing our garage. I found baby clothes. Tiny, adorable things Harper wore when she was a newbie. Oh you guys. I didn’t think my clock really cared much, but I was wrong. It made me feel things. Maybe 2013 will be the year. Do we want to go through all of it again? Go back to the sleepless nights, spit up, blow outs, teething, SLEEPLESS NIGHTS, sticking our finger under tiny nostrils to make sure they are breathing (oh…was that just me? Carry on then) and all the other horrifying/amazing things that come along with a new baby (let’s not even talk about the icicle diaper/Dermaplast/tucks pad monstrosity! Bless your existence Dermaplast!)?
For the record, I am NOT pregnant. Just entertaining the idea of possibly trying to get myself so.
This went off the rails quickly. My apologies.
I wore this! Show me what you wore! Babies and stuff!
