SEATTLE, JUMP ON IT JUMP ON IT JUMP ON IT.

(Here you go, Sir Mix A Lot is wearing a poncho. 1996 was awesome. Giddy up, U turn!).

This past weekend was a bit of a family reunion of Scot’s side. His grandparents and aunts and uncles on his dads side all gathered here in Washington. We had a great dinner with them all on Friday night, and then an outing down on the Seattle waterfront during the day Saturday. It was FREEZING. Literally. But barely any clouds in the sky! It was frigid but we really lucked out with how beautiful it was.

I’ve been feeling like we should be outside too because of the SUN but it is so freakin’ cold. I thought I was going to die when I went on the great wheel….NEVER AGAIN. <3 Harper…she's the cutest!

    Love your photos, of course!!

Funny story, growing up in Auburn, we would go out to Black Diamond to Sir Mixalot’s house for Halloween, because he always gave out king size candy bars.

Have you guys ridden the ferris wheel yet??

There’s a “let me off” button in each of those gondolas on the ferris wheel. Only for the love of my kids and their happy faces did I not push it. Repeatedly.

Beautiful photos. Especially the ones of Harper. What a doll baby! I don’t blame you one bit for not getting on that ferris wheel. Holy Cow! I rode the one at the beach with my 3 yr old son. He wanted to go on it so bad. I wanted to be a “big girl” and deal with it. It took everything I had to not sit in the floor and hid my head. My son….”Mommy, I will hold your hand.”

Rob makes fun of me because whenever we’ve gone on a ferris wheel (like 3 times in 15 years) I hug the inside of the thing like a sad freakshow and spend the whole time “not moving” and just looking around in terror like a scared freaked out alien bird baby monster.
It’s a bad scene. But your weekend looks super pretty and fun. Glad you’re back on here, yo.

I don’t know if you did it intentionally or not, but I LOVE the contrast in the stoller picture between the girls and the bag – black, white; white, black. The whole composition rocks. …Of course, the composition rocks in every single one of these photos, all of which I adore. Awesome!
